How the price check works
- Search your card. Type the year, set, and player or character; you do not need the exact card name. Pick from the matches.
- Read the grade ladder. You will see the value at each grade from real sold transactions (eBay and Fanatics), with the population at each grade and a confidence rating on every number.
- Act on it. Verify a slab's cert at the cert lookup, shop real listings on the marketplace, or check whether grading a raw card pays with PSA 10 vs raw.
Why these numbers are different
Most price-guide sites show asking prices scraped from listings, which run 20% to 50% above what buyers actually pay. Every number here traces to a completed sale, and populations come from grading-company census chains refreshed monthly. The full method is documented on the methodology page.
