One Piece TCG Graded Card Prices: Every Set, Every Chase Card (2026)

By GarpApril 28, 202625 min read

The One Piece Card Game is the fastest-growing TCG in history. Launched in Japan in July 2022 and globally in December 2022, it went from zero to outselling Yu-Gi-Oh! in under two years. And the graded card market? Still in its infancy. We're talking about an entire collectible ecosystem that's less than 4 years old.

If you collected Pokemon in 1999, you know what this moment feels like. Except this time you have the data to make real decisions instead of guessing. This guide covers every major set, the actual chase cards, real graded prices, and what makes the One Piece TCG market fundamentally different from anything else in collectibles right now.

The 100 Most Valuable One Piece Cards

This is the full leaderboard: the top 100 One Piece TCG cards ranked by PSA 10 fair market value, every price from real sold comps. For most cards we also list the exact PSA 10 population and gem rate straight from GemRate's data, so you can see not just what a card is worth but how scarce a gem-grade copy actually is. Where a card is a reprint or event promo we can't verify a population for, we leave it blank instead of guessing.

Top 100 One Piece Cards by PSA 10 Value

Ranked by real PSA 10 sold comps. Population and gem rate are exact figures from GemRate's PSA data (55 of 100 cards carry a verified population — the rest are reprints and event promos we don't list a pop for rather than guess). Updated 2026-07-18.

Why One Piece TCG Cards Are Different

Before we get into prices, you need to understand why this market behaves differently than Pokemon or sports cards:

  • The entire graded history fits in 3 years. Every PSA-graded One Piece card in existence was submitted after 2022. Compare that to Pokemon where cards have been graded for 20+ years. The population data is still being written.
  • Japanese and English are separate markets. Japanese cards released months before English, have different pull rates, and often feature exclusive alternate arts. JP cards generally command higher premiums for the same rarity.
  • The anime is in its final saga. One Piece is the best-selling manga in history (over 500 million copies). Every major anime moment — Gear 5, Egghead, Elbaf — creates immediate demand spikes for related character cards.
  • Gem rates are HIGH. Modern One Piece cards are well-printed with good centering. Most chase cards have 80-95% gem rates at PSA. This means PSA 10 scarcity comes from demand and total submissions, not grade difficulty. Check our PSA pop report guide to understand why this matters.

Understanding One Piece Card Rarities

If you're coming from Pokemon, the rarity system is different. Here's what you need to know:

  • C (Common) / UC (Uncommon) / R (Rare) — Base cards. Generally not worth grading unless they're promos.
  • SR (Super Rare) — The first tier worth collecting. Textured holofoil. These are the bread and butter.
  • SEC (Secret Rare) — One per box (roughly). The primary chase cards in every set.
  • L (Leader) — Alternate art leaders. Some are extremely valuable (Yamato OP01, Nami ST14).
  • SP (Special) — Special alternate arts. Often the most valuable cards in a set.
  • Manga Art — Cards featuring panels directly from Eiichiro Oda's manga. These are unique to One Piece TCG and command massive premiums because they're literally pages from the greatest manga ever drawn.
  • Gold treatments — Special gold-foil versions of manga arts (like the Roger in OP09). The pinnacle of One Piece chase cards.

The key insight: alternate arts and manga arts are the investment-grade cards. Standard SRs from unlimited print runs are for playing, not collecting.

The value jump from standard rarities to collectible rarities is massive. Alt Arts and above are the investment-grade cards.

Set-by-Set Breakdown: Every Major One Piece TCG Set

OP01 — Romance Dawn (July 2022 JP / December 2022 EN)

The very first set. Where it all started. Romance Dawn introduced the game with four starter decks (Straw Hat Crew, Worst Generation, Seven Warlords, Animal Kingdom Pirates) and the first booster set.

Chase cards: Yamato SEC (OP01-121) was the original grail — the first Secret Rare in the game. Shanks leader alt art. And the sleeper: Jack Alt Art (OP01-102), which trades for less than the Luffy but has a fraction of the pop.

Why OP01 matters for collectors: As the inaugural set, Romance Dawn has historical significance. Just like Base Set Pokemon, being "first" carries permanent premium. The Super Pre-Release Winner stamp promos from launch events are especially rare — these were tournament prizes with tiny print runs.

OP02 — Paramount War (March 2023 JP / June 2023 EN)

Themed around the Marineford arc — the most emotionally devastating arc in One Piece. This set gave us Ace, Whitebeard, and the iconic Nami alternate art that became one of the most recognizable cards in the game.

Key card: Nami Alt Art (OP02-036) is a top-10 most valuable card across all sets. The art depicts Nami from the Arlong Park arc — one of the most emotional moments in One Piece. Character + iconic moment + beautiful art = permanent demand.

OP03 — Pillars of Strength (July 2023 JP / September 2023 EN)

The Sogeking manga alt art from this set is a fan favorite. Sogeking (Usopp's alter ego at Enies Lobby) is a beloved meme character, and the manga panel art captures the exact moment from the manga. The Luffy "Wanted Poster" alternate art is also a standout — featuring Luffy's bounty poster as the card art. Creative, iconic, and immediately recognizable.

OP04 — Kingdoms of Intrigue (November 2023 JP / March 2024 EN)

Dressrosa and Wano themes. This set introduced Special Alternate Arts — a new tier above regular alt arts. The Trafalgar Law Special Alt Art became an instant classic. Boa Hancock's Special Alt Art also commands serious money.

OP04 is where the card game started showing it could produce genuine collectible art, not just game pieces. The Yamato SR (Borderless Alt Art) is another must-have.

Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 PSA 10 graded card slab product photography
The Gear 5 Luffy SEC from OP05 — the most iconic card in the One Piece TCG.

OP05 — Awakening of the New Era (February 2024 JP / May 2024 EN)

This is THE set. OP05 is to One Piece TCG what Base Set is to Pokemon. This is where Gear 5 Luffy entered the card game, and the market has never been the same.

The Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 SEC (OP05-119) is the most iconic card in the entire game. It depicts Luffy in his Gear 5 transformation — the moment that broke the internet when it aired in the anime (Episode 1071). The card sold for over $500 in PSA 10 shortly after release and remains the benchmark for One Piece graded card values.

OP05 also debuted manga alternate arts — cards that use Eiichiro Oda's original manga panels as the artwork. This was revolutionary. No other TCG does this. The Luffy manga alt art from OP05 uses the actual manga panel from Chapter 1010, one of the most iconic pages in One Piece history.

Investment thesis: OP05 manga arts and the Gear 5 SEC are the blue-chip holdings of One Piece TCG. They combine historical significance (first Gear 5, first manga arts), iconic source material, and massive demand. These are the cards you hold for 10 years.

One Piece TCG set values comparison chart from OP01 through OP13
OP05 and OP09 lead the pack in chase card values. Every set since OP05 is measured against it.

OP06 — Wings of the Captain (May 2024 JP / September 2024 EN)

The Zoro set. Roronoa Zoro is the second most popular One Piece character globally, and OP06 delivered TWO different Zoro chase cards: a standard alternate art AND a manga alternate art. Perona's alternate art (Japanese exclusive) is another collector favorite.

The Zoro manga alt art features the "Nothing happened" scene from Thriller Bark — arguably the most badass moment in One Piece. If you know, you know. This card will always have demand.

OP07 — 500 Years in the Future (August 2024 JP / November 2024 EN)

Egghead Island arc cards. The Boa Hancock SR is the standout from this set, along with multiple Vegapunk-related cards. OP07 was the set that proved One Piece TCG could sustain hype beyond the initial wave — it sold out at distributors.

OP08 — Two Legends (October 2024 JP / February 2025 EN)

Luffy and Blackbeard dual-leader set. Nami SR (OP08-106) became a massive chase card. Black Maria from this set is interesting at PSA 10 — one of the more affordable entry points into the graded OP market with strong art and character appeal.

OP09 — Emperors in the New World (January 2025 JP / April 2025 EN)

The current chase set. OP09 might be the most stacked set Bandai has ever released for One Piece TCG. The headliner: Gol D. Roger Gold Manga Alternate Art. A gold-foil treatment on a manga panel of the Pirate King himself. This is arguably the most premium card the game has produced.

But OP09 goes deeper. Nico Robin alt art, Donquixote Rosinante special alt art (Corazon — one of the most emotionally resonant characters in One Piece), Buggy manga alt art (the meme king of the series), and a new Luffy Wanted poster art.

What makes OP09 special: The set pulls from across the entire One Piece saga, featuring Emperors and major characters from multiple arcs. This gives it broad appeal across the entire collector base. Everyone finds something they want.

OP10 — Royal Blood (April 2025 JP)

The Vivi/Alabasta/royalty-themed set. Rebecca and a new Luffy are the headline cards. Still very early for grading data on this set.

OP11 — A Fist of Divine Speed (June 2025 JP)

Wano endgame cards. The Luffy-Tarou special alt art is the standout — Luffy in his Wano disguise. At a 77% gem rate, it's one of the harder modern One Piece cards to get a PSA 10, which makes graded copies more valuable relative to raw.

The 3rd Anniversary Luffy promo and the manga alt art from this set are also collector staples.

OP12 — Legacy of the Master (September 2025 JP)

Jewelry Bonney manga alt art is the headline chase — Bonney became a major character in Egghead, and the manga art captures a pivotal moment. Trafalgar Law alt art continues Law's streak of being in every set and always being expensive. Demon Aura Nine-Sword Style (Zoro's ultimate attack from Wano) is pure fan service in card form.

OP13 — Carrying On His Will (December 2025 JP / 2026 EN)

Premium Boosters are Bandai's compilation sets — greatest hits packages with new exclusive alternate arts. Think of them as One Piece's version of Pokemon's special sets (like Evolving Skies or Prismatic Evolutions).

PRB01 — Premium Booster: The Best

The Luffy PRB01 Alternate Art is the One Piece TCG card right now. Premium Booster exclusive, stunning art, and because it's not from a main set, the print run is more limited. PRB01 also has exclusive arts for Boa Hancock, Kaido, Nami, and Sanji.

PRB02 — Premium Booster: The Best Vol. 2

Sanji alt art headlines PRB02, along with a new "Come On, We'll Fight" Luffy and exclusive reprints. These premium boosters are becoming the go-to for collectors who want the best art without chasing main set odds.

Promos & Event Cards: The Hidden Gems

This is where the real alpha is. Promotional and event-exclusive cards cannot be reprinted. Unlike booster set cards where Bandai can always print more, promos have fixed, finite supply. When demand grows and supply is literally locked... you get appreciation.

Tournament Prize Cards

The Koby and Zoro Official Event Prize cards are given to top finishers at Bandai-sanctioned tournaments. Total print runs are tiny — we're talking hundreds, not thousands. PSA 10 copies of these are genuine trophy cards.

Collaboration & Exclusive Promos

The Dodgers x One Piece Night Luffy promo is a perfect example of why promos matter. Handed out at a single Dodgers baseball game in LA — you had to physically be there. The 7-Eleven Campaign Luffy from Japan? Only available through a Japanese convenience store promotion. Shonen Jump promos? Subscriber exclusives with known print runs.

The Laboon Treasure Cup Top 64 — Laboon is a beloved minor character, and this prize card from a specific tournament is the kind of thing that seems minor now but becomes impossible to find in 5 years.

Art Types Explained: What You're Actually Collecting

Not all One Piece cards are created equal. The art type is the single biggest factor in determining collectible value. Here's the hierarchy:

Standard Art

Original illustrations by Bandai's art team. Clean, vibrant, game-focused. These are the majority of cards and generally not collectible unless they're SRs or SECs.

Alternate Art

New illustrations that reimagine characters in different scenes or styles. The step up from standard art. Alt arts have textured foil and are pulled at much lower rates. Examples: Jack OP01 alt art, Nico Robin OP09 alt art.

Special Alternate Art

The premium tier of alternate arts. Full-bleed artwork with no text boxes — the art extends to the edges of the card. These are the "full art" equivalent and consistently command the highest prices after manga arts. Examples: Law OP04 Special Alt, Rosinante OP09 Special Alt, Luffy-Tarou OP11 Special Alt.

Manga Alternate Art

This is what makes One Piece TCG unique in all of collectibles. These cards feature actual panels from Eiichiro Oda's manga. Not redrawn, not inspired by — the actual manga artwork. No other TCG does this. Every manga alt art is a piece of One Piece history printed on a card.

The most valuable manga arts use panels from the most iconic moments: Luffy's Gear 5 transformation (Chapter 1044), Zoro's "Nothing happened" (Chapter 485), Roger at Laugh Tale. These are the cards that will define this TCG's legacy.

Gold Treatment

Gold-foil stamped manga arts. The absolute top of the hierarchy. The Gol D. Roger Gold Manga Alt Art from OP09 is the current pinnacle. These are produced in extremely limited quantities and pull rates are astronomical.

Vintage One Piece Cards: Before the TCG

One Piece had collectible cards long before the 2022 TCG launched. Bandai produced Carddass cards starting in 1997 — physical trading cards from vending machines and packs in Japan. These are 25+ years old now, and PSA 10 copies are genuinely rare.

Carddass cards from 2000-2001 featuring characters like Nami are a fascinating niche: they predate the TCG by two decades and have tiny graded populations. If you believe One Piece collectibles will appreciate long-term, these vintage cards are the ultimate scarcity play.

Grading Intelligence: PSA, CGC, or Beckett?

PSA vs CGC market share and price premium comparison for One Piece TCG graded cards
PSA holds 75% of the One Piece grading market and commands a 18-35% price premium over CGC.

PSA Dominates — Here's Why

PSA is the king of One Piece grading. Over 80% of graded One Piece cards on the secondary market are PSA. The reasons:

  • Liquidity: PSA-graded One Piece cards sell faster and at higher prices on eBay.
  • Japanese collector preference: Japanese buyers — a massive pool for One Piece — overwhelmingly prefer PSA.
  • Population data: PSA has the most comprehensive pop reports, making it easier to assess scarcity.
  • Premium: PSA 10 typically sells for 15-30% more than CGC 10 Perfect on the same card.

Most One Piece cards are 80%+ gem rate. The outliers below 80% are where real scarcity lives.

Gem Rates Are Deceptively High

Most One Piece cards have gem rates between 80-95%. This is MUCH higher than vintage Pokemon (3-8%) or even modern Pokemon alt arts (40-70%). What does this mean?

  • PSA 10 isn't rare by grade difficulty. Getting a 10 is relatively easy. The scarcity comes from total population and demand — not from the challenge of achieving the grade.
  • Look for the outliers. Cards with gem rates below 80% are actually rare in One Piece terms. Luffy-Tarou at 77%, Usopp EB02 at 44%, Sabo Baskin Robbins at 57% — these are the cards where the PSA 9 vs 10 price gap actually matters.
  • Watch for gem rate drops over time. As less-pristine copies get submitted, gem rates will fall. Today's 90% gem rate might be 75% in two years. Early PSA 10 holders benefit from this — their copies become relatively scarcer.

Investment Analysis: Where the Smart Money Goes

Why One Piece Is Still Early

Consider this: The Pokemon TCG launched in 1996. Base Set Charizard PSA 10 now sells for $50,000+. It took 15 years for Pokemon graded cards to reach mainstream awareness. One Piece TCG launched in 2022. We're in year 4. The anime has 20+ years of global fanbase already built. The TCG hasn't even reached its "everyone realizes this is valuable" phase yet.

The Best Value Plays Right Now

  1. Event promos and tournament prizes. Fixed supply, can't be reprinted, and most collectors don't even know they exist. The Koby event prize, Zoro event prize, and Laboon Treasure Cup cards are undervalued relative to their scarcity.
  2. Japanese exclusive alt arts from OP05-OP06. The Gear 5 Luffy manga art and Zoro "Nothing happened" manga art from the Japanese versions are the defining cards of this game. English collectors are starting to discover them.
  3. Low gem-rate outliers. In a world of 90% gem rates, anything below 80% is genuinely scarce. Target these with our PSA 10 value calculator.
  4. PRB01/PRB02 exclusives. Premium boosters have limited print runs compared to main sets, and the exclusive arts are only available here.

What to Avoid

  • High-pop standard SRs from unlimited sets. A card with 5,000+ PSA 10 pop and a 94% gem rate is not scarce. It's just popular.
  • CGC 9.5s priced near PSA 10 levels. The market doesn't value them the same, and the gap widens over time.
  • Cards from characters without arc catalysts ahead. In One Piece, price spikes follow anime moments. If a character's biggest arc is already animated, the demand catalyst is behind you.

The Anime Catalyst

One Piece is in its final saga. Elbaf arc is next. Key characters to watch: Shanks (Elbaf connections), Blackbeard (final villain), Luffy (always), and whatever new characters Oda introduces. When a character gets a major anime moment, their graded cards spike 30-100% within weeks. Time your buys BEFORE the episodes air.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the most expensive One Piece TCG card?

The most expensive standard-set card is the Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 SEC from OP05 in PSA 10. However, promotional cards like the Super Pre-Release Winner Luffy and tournament prizes can sell for significantly more due to their extreme rarity. The Gol D. Roger Gold Manga Alt Art from OP09 is the current most sought-after chase card.

Are One Piece cards a good investment?

One Piece TCG has shown strong appreciation driven by: a growing player base (fastest-growing TCG in history), the anime being in its final saga (sustained cultural relevance), and limited print history (only 4 years of cards exist). Focus on low-population alt arts, promos, and manga arts from key sets (OP05, OP06, OP09).

Should I grade my One Piece cards at PSA or CGC?

PSA for investment. PSA-graded One Piece cards sell at 15-30% premiums over CGC equivalents, sell faster, and are preferred by the Japanese collector base. If you're grading for your personal collection and want faster turnaround, CGC is fine.

What One Piece sets are worth collecting?

OP05 (Awakening of the New Era) is the most important set — the "Base Set" of One Piece TCG. OP09 (Emperors in the New World) is the current chase set with incredible art. PRB01 (Premium Booster) has limited-run exclusives. After that, OP01 (Romance Dawn) for historical significance and OP06 (Wings of the Captain) for Zoro collectors.

How do I check One Piece graded card prices?

Use our PSA 10 value calculator to look up any PSA cert number for live FMV, population, and gem rate data. Or browse the full Graded.World marketplace for real-time pricing across all graded One Piece cards.

What is a manga alternate art?

Manga alternate arts are One Piece TCG cards that feature actual panels from Eiichiro Oda's original manga as the card artwork. They're unique to One Piece TCG — no other card game does this. They command premium prices because they're literally pieces of manga history on a card. First introduced in OP05.
